I have learned in this unit a new way to approach disruptive/disengaged students by using the minute papers technique. This causes the student to have to pay attention for fear they will get called on to reflect what they learned in the lesson.

It's important to make notes about how your presentation went so you can make any necessary modifications before your next class.

While creating my syllabus I will include information such as grading rubrics, grading categories, course description and a breakdown of the course. I will also incorporate colors and symbols into my syllabus to keep student attention to read it thoroughly and not skim over.

It's important to monitor your students and take action to deal with problem students before they become disruptive to the other students in the class.

When dealing with challenging students, make sure to take a look at yourself first.

Explain to the students the basis for evaluation and explain course procedures. Set expectations for missed and late assignments

sorry, but i do find it difficult to remember everyone's names at times

Avoiding cheating is always out there and would like not having final exams

Mistakes are going to happen. You just have to take them as they come and remember its progress not perfection. Organization is key and I try to keep as organized as possible.

I believe that I should have expectations and hold to them. By doing this I am showing I respect the students who want to show up, participate and be involved but also that I will be understanding.
